Cinderella gets sad without the Prince
That's what Hailey said tonight, anyway. We got a set of little Cinderella dolls for the girls on Saturday. Each set has all the little figurines from the story- the Fairy Godmother, the stepmother and sisters, the Prince, the mice and Cinderella. I told the girls that they could have one of them to take to bed with them and Hailey said she wanted to take Cinderella and the Prince. I told her she had to choose since she could only have one. "Cinderella gets sad without the Prince" is what she said. And, who can argue with that? I let her take both to bed with her. We don't want Cinderelly to be sad now, do we?
Diaper cream does not go on your face
I guess we'll add that to the list of things I never imagined I would say. That list is getting pretty long these days. Yesterday we had to tell Hailey to not stick gummy bears in her ears. Today it was the diaper cream with Sarah. We'd finished lunch and Hailey had gone upstairs for some "quiet" time, Matt was getting ready for work, I was feeding Aimee, and I thought Sarah had laid down for a nap. Whenever it's too quiet that usually means trouble.
I thought maybe Sarah had gone to sleep but figured I'd better check on her. Nope, she wasn't sleeping. She wasn't anywhere to be found. Then I saw her in Aimee's room. Sarah turned around and that's when the fated words were spoken. She was by the changing table and she had diaper cream all over her face and in her hair, all over her hands and some on her clothes. I told her that diaper cream was for bums and not for faces. "For bums," she said. "Yes." I said. "Oh, ok." And that was that in typical Sarah fashion. "Ok" is her answer to just about anything. When she is being agreeable, that is. It took a half a dozen or so wipes to clean all of the slime off of her. I wished I'd waited to take a picture, but by that time the cream probably would have been spread around the house. It was worth a good laugh anyway.

Here we go again...
I started my very first blog when we still lived in Boise. We moved a year ago and I don't think I've written on it more than half a dozen times if even that. I know the whole idea of having a blog is to update often, and maybe with this new blog I'll have better luck! I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But, I did think it would be fun to start my very own page. Our other was more of a family blog and I would write on it once in a while when something noteworthy happened, then we moved and Matt changed the name of it to "The Wonderful Williams of Wolfforth." I thought the title made us sound like Scottish clansmen or something. This new blog is for me...to write about my thoughts and other musings, to share about my family and my scrapbooking. Woohoo! for me for finally having a scrapping blog. I've wanted one for a long time, but it's just been hard to find the time to get it started. I decided if I didn't give it a shot, it would never happen. So, here we go. I will do my best to update it more often than the last one. This could be a lot of fun!
