Little Aimee...again

People often say that the more kids you have, the fewer pictures you take. I don't think that's true in our case. Even little Aimee has had hundreds of pictures taken of her. It seems all she did when she was little was sleep, at least according to the pictures I've posted lately. Anyway, here she is in a new layout I put together this weekend. Matt and I see Aimee as our little bit of peace since her older sisters can be a bit of a challenge at times. You can see why from this picture. Even now she's so contented most of the time and is such a happy, good-natured baby. Hope you're having a great day.

5 months old

Yep, my little baby is 5 months old today. Sweet as can be, she makes everyone smile. She's quite the charmer with her big blue eyes and cute little grin. Aimee is so ticklish and has the funniest little chuckle...makes me laugh every time I hear it. She's recently learned to spit and blow bubbles...a skill I'm sure she learned from her dad...and delights in filling her pants just so she can laugh at us while we make funny faces as we change her. Seriously. She was definitely a surprise to us but she's my little angel girl and I love her and am so thankful she's a part of our family.

I've been tagged...again

Yes, I've been tagged yet again, this time by Lisa, our design team coordinator over at AC Bailey. And, since some of you will be tagged next, pay close attention to how it works!

Here is how it works: You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

I am not feeling very creative at the moment but anyway, my middle name is June, so here you go:

J is for "Just Perfect." That's what Matt told me. I told you I'm not feeling very creative right now. He also informed me that I'm not Japanese. Now that's news to me. Just kidding. He now says I'm jammin'. I don't know. Maybe I'll have better luck with the next letter.

U is for unique. I know we all come with our very own set of quirky things we do, wierd habits we might possess ( I won't get into those right now) and I am no exception. And, while I might sometimes like to have some things that other people have, I am proud of my U-nique-ness.

N is for near-sighted. Not very exciting, I know. If I don't have my glasses on or contact lenses in I really can't see hardly at all. Matt and I have talked about doing LASIK surgery one of these days, which would be so wonderful. I've had glasses since I was in junior high and I can't even imagine the day that I don't have to worry about that at all anymore.

E is for Egg-celent. In honor of Easter being this Sunday and all. E is also for eager. I just started on the design team at AC Bailey and got my first assignment supplies this week and I am so very EAGER to get going on some fun projects to dazzle you all. Seeing as how I have such a large audience for my blog. Well, maybe not too large. I don't even think Matt reads this regularly. I need some friends :)

So, those of you who are my friends, check your blogs and see if you've now been tagged. I will tag: Janelle, Ellie, Sami and Ginger. Have fun, and I can't wait to see your list!

Haircuts, milkshakes and gymnastics

It was quite the busy day for Hailey and Sarah. First we took them to get their first "big girl" haircuts since neither one has had a haircut except for me cutting their bangs once in a while. Hailey's hair had gotten so long- all the way down to her waist, so it was high time for a trim. They both sat so quietly while the beautician cut their hair, not sure really what was going on. After we went to Whataburger for lunch for burgers and the girls' first milkshakes of their very own- one they didn't have to share with the other for once. Then, tonight, they got to go to their gymnastics class and to see their Grandma and Grandpa Williams. It was such a fun day.

Sometimes you just need to scream

I am having one of those moments right now. So, I thought I would post this cute page I just made the other day.

some kind of record

This will be my third post today. TODAY. I think this blog will survive after all.

The reason for this post is something so cute and blogworthy happened during lunch. The girls were being really cute, posing for the camera and then Hailey said, "I wanna give you a hug 'cause you're my sweet mommy.' She does love me after all. Sometimes I wonder when she is screaming at me at the top of her lungs that "I am not sleepy and I will not go to bed." Her favorite line from her "Charlie and Lola" book. Darn book. I thought it would be a cute one but now it's come back to haunt me. So, this sweet phrase from my three year old has made my day.

New stuff at AC Bailey

This cute little pail was made with a new American Crafts paper collection now at AC Bailey. Check it out here. http://acbaileyltd.com/index.php?p=product&id=263&parent=0
My pail uses the ribbon and patterned paper on a Maya Road tin that I had in my scrap room just waiting to be decorated. I cut out the larger flowers from one of the paper sheets, inked the edges and added some buttons from my stash. Isn't that collection adorable?!

Hailey gets her cast off

For those who didn't know, Hailey had to have her arm in a cast for a couple weeks. Yep, she thought it would be fun to stand up and play on the back of the couch, but it wasn't so fun when she fell off and hurt her right arm. She had to get a cast and that was cool until she had to go back in and have it removed. She'd already heard how loud the little saw was to remove it, and wasn't convinced that the tool that would cut through her cast couldn't also cut right through her arm. Long before we even left for the appointment she was in tears. Fortunately the doctor was able to just give the cast a little tug and pull it right off. Hailey is his biggest fan now. Anyway, things are back to normal, and even after having the little "no more monkeys jumping on the bed" (or the couch, for that matter) she is back to doing both. Oh well.

Here is a layout I did after she got her cast. Hailey picked out the colors...perfect since it was right before Valentine's Day. The layout was based on a sketch for a design team tryout; the colors of the felt came out a little off in the pic, but you get the idea.

The big news...

I am not really used to tooting my own horn, but...
Now that the word is out on the site I can finally announce my big news...not necessarily what you have ALL been waiting for since chances anyone has read the other post from today are pretty slim, but definitely news I have been waiting for and just found out today. I got onto a new design team for a company called AC Bailey Designs. In a nutshell it's a company that does direct-sales for scrapbooking supplies. Kind of like...dare I mention some of the competition...well, kind of like Stampin' Up!, Close to My Heart or Creative Memories, only it's mainly scrapping stuff and not so much on the stamping side of things. They have an online store, forum and gallery that you should definitely go visit! And, I am a consultant so you can get their products through me! It's such a great company, they carry scrapping supplies from companies I love, and have an awesome team that I am so excited to work with. Check out the link at the bottom of the page. Just send me a message if you'd like to know how to order something. New product is coming in all the time. Now, isn't that exciting news?

I have been tagged

My friend, Janelle, had this post in her blog. I was happily reading along, getting to know her and her husband better and at the end of her post I saw this. A challenge. For me. To write about my husband. Since I love him so much and since I am grateful to actually have a friend in Lubbock these days (thanks, Janelle, btw.) I will do the silly husband questionnaire. Here you go!

What is his name? Matthew Wayne Williams
How long have you been married? It will be 7 years in May.
How long did you date? We dated for about 3 months before he proposed. It sounds like such a short amount of time but seemed like forever back then.
How old is he? He'll be 33 this month.
Who eats more? If we're talking about sitting down at meals, probably him. I am home all day and am more of a snacker, so during the day while he's slaving away at work I most likely eat more.
Who said I love you first? I let him. We were outside talking on the curb one night and he told me. One of the best days of my life.
Who is taller? Matt is, but with me only being 5'4" that's not a very hard thing to do.
Who sings better?I think it would be a toss up. We both love to sing and can carry a tune pretty well. Before our little kid days we were always part of the choir. Now he usually gets to go while I watch the kids.
Whose temper is worse? I think we're pretty even. We are both known to lose it once in a while.
Who does the laundry? I do.
Who does the dishes? That would be me. But Matt helps me, too. Sweet guy. And, Hailey and Sarah will help unload/load the dishwasher sometimes, too. I have to take advantage of the time right now when they think it's fun.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? That would be Matt.
Who mows the lawn? Thankfully, him.
Who pays the bills?I do. It stresses him out too much. He does the taxes, though, and had so much fun paying off his truck last month.
Who cooks dinner? I do most of the time, but he will once in a while, too.
Who drives when you are together? He does, though I think he'd like me to so I wouldn't pick on his driving so much. He gets it from his dad. And his grandpa.
Who is more stubborn? Both. We have our moments.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? He is so sweet. He's better at that than I am.
Whose parents do you see the most? Since we live here, we see his all the time. At least once a week. We only see mine maybe twice a year.
Who proposed? He did. That's the guy's job.
Who has more friends? He sees more people on a daily basis, so I would say him, though I have lots of online scrapping friends and some from church. Most I would call acquaintences since we don't do much outside of seeing each other at church. I need to find some more friends.
Who has more siblings? I have him beat by one. He has 4 siblings and I have 5.
Who wears the pants in the family? I like the let him think he's in charge :)

Now, Sami, Ginger and Ellie, I tag you next. Have fun!

I can't hardly stand it!

I have something I can't wait to share...but I have to wait a little bit longer. Let's just say that it's something I've done before and have been trying to get back into the last little while. It's been a crazy wait, trying and trying and trying again and it finally happened. And, that's about all I can say without spilling the beans. Lots of beans. Check back later for all the exciting details!
