Anyway, without further adieu, here some of the new Sassafras Lass felties and some products from the "Cherry Hill" line from October Afternoon being released to the scrapbooking world:

Gone Bananas over Maya Road
Maya Road (a scrapbook product manufacturer, for those who might not be familiar with the company) has seriously outdone themselves this time! There are so many beautiful things being released that I just had to share some with you. This little monkey sticker above will be handed out to customers at the CHA tradeshow this weekend. Fabulous stuff, huh? LOVE IT!!
some of my favorite new releases
I realize that it's been a while since I've blogged...been bogged down with other things and haven't been doing much scrapping. My Grandma Johnston passed away last week. We've been sick off and on. Lots of things happening but not much to show for it. So, I am going to do a quick post even though I am sick again...it seems we've been sick so much in our family this winter. I wish that if people weren't feeling well they'd just stay home. I guess that isn't always possible but it sure would help out my poor family so we wouldn't get sick so much.
Anyway, this weekend is CHA (Craft and Hobby Association)where the crafting industry gets to show off their new products. Some day I hope to be able to attend, to participate in the frenzied craziness with all of the other scrapbooking addicts. So, here are a few of my new favorite things...
I have chosen a beautiful collection from Webster's Pages, Krafty Kuts paper and embellishments from Fancy Pants, some stamps and other goodies from Maya Road, flowers from Prima, some paper and embellishments(who doesn't need MORE Thickers?) from the Backyard collection by American Crafts, some Jenni Bowlin (love the cow!).
I'll add a few more later on since I have been eyeing the new "Cherry Hill" from October Afternoon, the "Girl Friday" from Cosmo Cricket and some other lovely new releases.

In Hog Heaven!!
I am not sure who came up with this saying and am not sure exactly what "being in hog heaven" is supposed to mean, but I sure love this paper set from Sassafras Lass that I got to work with for my January AC Bailey design team projects. Here are the fun things I created. I love the happy feel of these papers, makes me smile just looking at the pages. Having cute kids doesn't hurt, either :)

Have a wonderful day!!

some new pages and cute girls in wigs
It's been a little while since I've blogged...must be this crazy sleep schedule I've been on lately that has me so exhausted by the end of the day. I still don't know what it is that keeps me waking up around 4 every morning but hope that tonight will be a restful one for me.
I am so excited to share that I have been featured on my friend Linda's scrapbooking sketch blog this weekend. You can look at it here.
Linda creates these fun sketches and asks friends of hers to take part by interpreting the sketch and then shares our pages on her blog. Isn't that fun? If you'd be interested in doing a sample for one of her sketches, just contact her with the info on her blog.
Here is the sketch that I chose to use and the page that I made to go along with it, using some Chatterbox Ecclectique product from my wonderful sister-in-law, Ginger, and some pictures of Hailey in all her glory all gussied up in some of her new dress-up things.

I have also been busy creating some fun pages for AC Bailey...stay tuned tomorrow for some Sassafras Lass cuteness!!
Speaking of cuteness, I just HAVE to share these pictures of my Sarah and Aimee. They were playing with the dress-up clothes yesterday and Aimee actually let me put this wig on her head...and not only that, she kept it on for QUITE a while. I was stunned that she didn't pull it off right away. So, keeping my fingers crossed that she would cooperate with me, I ran down the stairs as quickly as I could to grab the camera and take a few pictures.
After getting the pictures of Aimee I asked Sarah if she'd like to get all dressed up and have her picture taken and was amazed with this beautiful shot that I got of her. Isn't she just so pretty? Now we know what our Sarah would look like with long blonde curly hair. I love that they have these cute wigs to play with, and they make for some great picture-taking props.
I have had a little bit of time to scrap this week and have been playing around with the My Scrapbook Nook January kit some more and made this page with cute pics of Aimee in the tub as well as these other pages.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Make sure to come by again tomorrow to see what I've been cooking up with my AC Bailey design team supplies for this month. Have a great night!!

pages from the crop
This weekend's crop at AC Bailey was a huge success! Lots of fun challenges, lots of people participating, over 100 pages and cards posted in the gallery. And, I got a few things done myself :) Some of the other challenges will have to wait for some other time. Here are a few things I was able to put together:

The "i love fall" page was one I made for my challenge to use up some old paper scraps. Every piece of paper on this page was from my scrap drawer- 14 different patterns. Now,that's being green!!
The "Great Outdoors" page I created for my "Make it Snappy" challenge to try and simplify your layouts to make it easier to get more scrapbook pages done in less time. I used some tips from Courtney Walsh's new book, "The Busy Scrapper" and challenged the crop participants to use at least 3 things from my list to make a page.
The Hailey "in her eyes" page was for Elisabeth's "5 product challenge" where we had to use flowers, bling, ribbons and other trims, stickers and eyelets.

a cozy little hat
One of my AC Bailey design team friends, Connie, sent some cute little hats for my girls for Christmas. Wasn't that sweet? I told her I would take a picture of the kids wearing the hats so that she could see but 2 out of the 3 weren't exactly cooperative. So, here is Hailey wearing the cozy little hat that Connie sent to her. Thank you, Connie!!
