hello Friday!

It has been quite an up and down week but it's nice to end on a bit of a higher note.

I haven't gotten sick yet today and the kids are going over the Grandma's house for a while this morning so I can have some time with just Matt and whatever we decide to do.

I really need to do some scrapping- I started on a layout yesterday and would love to get it finished today. I got a ton of American Crafts embellishments about a week ago and am just itching to play with them so maybe today is the day!

Last night we got the kids all dressed up and went to a trunk or treat at the church, earlier in the week we made caramel apples, which was quite entertaining considering how the girls love to load things up with sprinkles and things. I'll load the pics to the computer and show y'all soon.

For tomorrow we need to go to the pumpkin patch again and have two soccer games. Sadly the season is coming to a close but after last week's freezing weather I am not too upset about it.

I'm starting to think about Christmas so how about a Christmas Lily Bee card today?

Have a great day!

I have to share some news

Because of some recent news we've received I have decided to cut back some of my scrapbooking responsibilities. It made me sad to have to quit but know that it's for the best right now.

I have decided to leave my spots on the SRM Stickers, Bo Bunny and Creative Charms teams.

It was such a fun ride while it lasted and I wish every one of those on these teams the very best and want you to know how much you've inspired my creativity and how much I've enjoyed working with such amazingly talented people and such fun/beautiful/cool products.

My time at Creative Charms and Bo Bunny was short-lived but I spent almost a year at SRM Stickers and it was so hard to say goodbye to everyone but I know where to find everyone ☺ and will be watching you from the sidelines.

Thank you to the DT leaders and others from these teams who have made scrapping such a pleasure for me.

how about a little peek at one of my projects?

I haven't been able to scrap very much lately but did finish up a layout this week that I can share with you later on after the reveal- this was done for a fun sketch assignment that I really enjoyed and I made it using the September kit from My Scrapbook Nook featuring the gorgeous Restoration collection from Crate Paper.

I wish that I had more to share with you but honestly I haven't had the energy to do much lately. I hope to get into my scrap room today to work on some things that I can share with you later in the week.

Have a great day, and as always, thanks so much for stopping by.

a quick Friday post

It sounds like whatever has been going around at the schools is going around at my house.

Hailey and Aimee have nasty colds and Aimee was coughing all last night...looks like it's time to start her breathing treatments again. Poor girl.

Our usually spunky Sarah is laying around saying she feels like she is going to throw up, and I am right there with her- been there, done that already today.

Should be a fun one around here.

Here's another look at one of the Lily Bee projects that I made for this month:

I hope that you are all having a better day where you are.

p.s. I've been introduced to a great group of online stores that have everything from toys and baby gear to all kinds of houseware items. They even have a Danish Ebelskiver pan that my husband has been drooling over since he grew up eating those sweet treats. Watch my blog in the near future for a review!

CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from stylish handbags, to modern bar stools, or great cookware!

happy birthday to my Aimee

It is so hard to believe that Aimee is three today.

Time goes by way too fast.

I still remember that day...it had been a difficult pregnancy because of so many complications, I had to go in for monitoring all the time and had to be really careful about everything...we had a c-section scheduled because there was no way I'd be able to have a "normal" delivery. I was nervous about having that surgery but anxious to get that little girl HERE.

Anyway, two days before my scheduled c-section I was having regular contractions so they rushed me in for an emergency c-section that day and little Aimee was born. What a sweet little girl she has always been.

One of my favorite things is her hugs and I love it when she says to me with a smile, "I love you mommy, you're so kind." I love her laugh and her craziness and the way she makes up silly songs. I love the way she drops the consonants at the beginnings of words. I love that she likes to be with me and secretly love that she needed me to be there with her in nursery at church for so long because I hated the idea of leaving her. Now she's more independent- we go to nursery and I take her to the bathroom and then she calmly says, "You can leave now, Mommy." She is growing up way too fast.

We had a little party for her last night to celebrate with the Matt's parents, his brother Grant and his wife and their son. It was a fun time with yummy cake and hula hooping and bubble blowing and fun. Aimee got a couple of really cute outfits, a Jessie doll (from Toy Story) and a fun Play-doh set that is soon going to be all over my kitchen floor and smashed into the cracks of my table where it comes apart but that's okay.

I am starting to feel like these girls are growing up too fast...thank goodness we'll have one more on the way so I can relish the baby stage one more time.

Because I just can't NOT share anything scrappy today, here are some Aimee pages from the last few years. Isn't she such a sweetheart? We sure love that little girl.

I think it's safe to say that her life will be fairly well-documented. I love this sweet girl with the crooked teeth because she still sucks on her thumb when she's upset or tired. I love her sweet face with the mark from my c-section that will probably always mar her cheek (I think they knicked her when they did my surgery) and I love her sweet little voice. I love that she puts herself in time-out when she tells me no. I love the way she hooks her little finger over the top of her nose when she has her thumb in her mouth and love her little pouty face.

Sweet Aimee girl, I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

that cute Monster Stew

As a mom of three girls one would think that my favorite new release from Jillibean Soup this last CHA would be Pasta Fagioli, right? I do love that collection but I think my absolute fave would have to be Monster Stew! I just can't resist those cute little monsters and the names that Jill came up with for the papers? Too cute. I mean, "cup eyeballs, 2 tbsp. slime, pinch of hair? Yep, I love it.

Here's a quick card that I created using this line.

Oh, did I ever show you these? I made them for the Jillibean booth at CHA this summer.

Have a great day!

Pink Paislee and SRM Stickers

Good morning!

I have really enjoyed being a part of the team at SRM Stickers this year.

One of the HUGE perks of being on this team is getting lots of brand new releases from some of my favorite scrapbooking companies. This time around it's Pink Paislee. I was excited to get a 6x6 of  Sweetness  along with the Hocus Pocus collection to play with.

I created a card that was already shown on the SRM blog but I don't think I'd posted it here:

It is kind of hard to see in the picture but I used one of the new white sentiments for this card. You can see the new "We've Got Your Sticker" sets by clicking on this link:

I also created a two-page layout (shocker, I know!) using the Hocus Pocus collection which was so perfect for scrapping LAST YEAR'S pumpkin carving pictures.

SRM Stickers:

Have wonderful day! Make sure to stop by the SRM blog to see the other ladies' creations.
