We just finished up Spring Break here and had such a great time camping with family. The weather was perfect, the setting so beautiful and calm. The kids had such a wonderful time playing with their cousins. I took about 400 pictures on that short trip (I know, crazy) and you'll see them popping up on layouts soon!
For today I have a layout to share. This one uses the cute new Keepsake collection from My Little Shoebox. I loved the bright colors in the collection, the mix of pink and aqua and gray and yellow. SO cute!
Isn't the collection so adorable?
Check back tomorrow for a couple more My Little Shoebox projects.
Today will be a busy one but I guess that I could really say that just about any day, and so could you, right?
We have some fun things planned for the next few days and are excited to be able to spend some time with some family- the girls love their cousins and I wish that they could know more of them better. They're able to spend quite a bit of time with their cousins here in Texas and I love that they all get along so well.
It is Spring here, nice and warm and beautiful with the trees full of flowers and new life. I love it when our pear trees are fluffy and white and love the newness of it all.
Today, though, I have some fall picture to share, pics from our trip to a local apple orchard.
I used a mix of papers Crate Paper along with embellishments from My Mind's Eye and Bella Blvd.
I got an email yesterday from someone at Lifestyle Crafts, formerly Quik Kutz, a company that sells templates for embossing, die-cutting and letterpress. She wanted to know if I'd be interested in being a part of their Affiliate program and after thinking about it I told her YES!
So, what that means for you is from time to time I will post projects using brand new releases and have a special code that you can use to get a discount on their products.
How does that sound?
I will be starting soon so keep your eyes open for some fun new projects and deals for you.
You guys are getting spoiled this week with posts from me, huh?
I figure that after the scarcity of posts around here lately I'd better get to work.
Today I will share with you a layout that was shared on the Bella Blvd blog yesterday that I created using this as inspiration:
We have this funny green wig and little Lily was so cute in it I just couldn't resist taking her picture! We thought it would be fun to dress her up as a tree or broccoli for Halloween just so that she could wear the wig ☺ Here I used a mix of new and older Bella Blvd products to go with the color palette.
Does anyone else wish that today was still Saturday?
I could sure use another couple of days of weekend after the craziness of last week. I think that things are getting back to whatever our "normal" is, everyone is on the mend and we'll get back into the regular routine.
I wanted to thank everyone who entered the giveaway.
*tonight is the deadline for my giveaway* If you'd like to enter the drawing simply scroll down to the giveaway post and leave a comment telling me about your favorite color scheme right now and I will draw a random winner tomorrow. The winner will receive a scrappy prize with papers and embellishments in their favorite colors.
For today I have a new page to share with you using some of the brand new Pebbles Inc. collections:
**make sure to check out the giveaway in the post below**
Has it been a long week for you?
It sure has been here dealing with sick kids. Hailey is on the mend, she's a little better than she was a couple of days ago and it's nice to see her a bit more perky. She is wanting to play and not do her homework, so we're heading toward "normal". ha ha. She's not quite well enough to go to school but we're hoping for tomorrow.
For today I have a layout I made using a mix of older Crate Paper Neighborhood and some other things, it was fun to get to play a bit since I haven't scrapped as much lately.
Looking at books and chewing/drooling on them is one of Lily's favorite things to do these days!
Paper is from KI Memories (gray polka dot background) and Crate Paper (all the rest), alphas are from American Crafts, buttons are from Pebbles Inc. and the little rub-on at the bottom left is from October Afternoon.
