I was working on some projects for the upcoming Craft & Hobby Association trade show and decided to take a break to work on something else to clear my head and created this layout using the fun Amy Tangerine Yes Please collection from American Crafts.
As I do with many of my layouts, instead of cutting off the printed tear strip at the bottom of the patterned paper, I leave that on as a bottom border and cut a bit off of the top.
I cut a butterfly from the tan corrugated paper with one of my Tim Holtz dies and kept the negative piece to use on my page. I decided to add some polka dot stickers to it and just realized how much they look like the little polka dots on Lily's shirt!
*remember that i used the "extra" on this project:
It is so fun to be able to use scraps and not waste anything.
I added these little puffy arrow stickers and added my journaling and that was it. I think the page took about 30 minutes to complete. The thing that took the longest was waiting for the mist to dry on the background!
Have a fantastic day!
