Lily Bee Blog Hop!

Good morning and thank you so much for joining us for our first design team blog hop since the new team members (including me!) were added.

I am thrilled to be part of this team, love the girls that I am able to work with and am looking forward to many fun months ahead. They are quite the talented group of ladies and I am just so excited to get to work with them.

In case you have just happened upon my blog, please head over to Ursula's blog where all of the blog hopping festivities began this morning. I have seen some peeks of some of the projects you'll see today and know that you won't want to miss anything!

Here is a list of all of the design team members participating in the hop:

Becky Williams (http://onescrappinmama.blogspot.com)***YOU ARE HERE***

Our design team challenge for this hop was to combine at least 2 of the 3 new collections released at this past CHA. Those of you who have followed my blog for very long know that I ♥LOVE♥ to mix and match papers so this was a lot of fun for me.

Here is what I created:

Lily Bee supplies:
Persnickety (Snooty, Huffy, Prissy, Finicky, Prim, ABC Stickers, 6x6 Tiny Tablet, Mixed Stickers), Autumn Spice (6x6 Tiny Tablet- All Spice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger, Vanilla; Clear Stamps) Christmas Cheer(6x6 Tiny Tablet- Figgy Pudding, Clear Stamps).

I have been waiting to scrap these cute pictures of my baby girl, Lily, wearing the most adorable yellow polka dot stretch pants and decided to use them for this layout. Originally I was going to go with a monochromatic yellow page using papers from the three new collections but then decided it would be more fun to add some more color!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the background on the yellow chevron striped paper (Huffy- from the Persnickety collection) and mounted it on the denim-colored paper (Finicky, also from the Persnickety line) and then used various sized circle punches and my 6x6 Tiny Tablets from the Persnickety, Autumn Spice and Christmas Cheer collections to add some color to the page. I used some yellow paint under the pictures to help bring out the yellow theme I was going for.

I then used a white gel pen to do my journaling in some of the polka dots- it showed up so well on the denim paper!

I used the number stamp from the Christmas Cheer collection to show how old Lily was in these pictures. They are part of a Christmas collection but are so versatile and can be used on so many other projects!

In the spirit of our blog hop and the theme for this week at Lily Bee- combining collections- Lily Bee will be giving away a variety pack of 12x12 papers from the three new lines: Autumn Spice, Persnickety and Christmas Cheer. In order to be eligible for this prize you need to visit each of the design team members' blogs listed above and leave a comment on each one as well. Check back at the Lily Bee blog at the end of the hop for more information.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

For one lucky commenter I will put together a fun card kit with a mix of Lily Bee papers and other goodies. I will choose a winner via random.org on Monday, October 15. Please make sure that you leave a way for me to contact you in case you are the lucky winner.

From here you will head on over to the blog of the fabulous Andrea Budjack

Don't forget to comment on each blog for your chance to win the big prize from Lily Bee!

Have a great day and happy hopping! ♥
