projects using November kit from My Scrapbook Nook

Good morning! I hope you all had a better night's sleep than I did! Add my husband's tendency toward restless leg syndrome and the large hot chocolate Matt brought me from Starbuck's last night and I didn't get to sleep until after two o'clock. Not a fun night. Then, Matt turned off his alarm and we all overslept. We still made it where we needed to go- on time, even- and all will be well. It seems we've been running from place to place the last couple of days and I just need some time to catch up and get some rest. We'll see if that happens today :)

First off, I thought I'd share with you a couple of pages I've made so far with the November kit from My Scrapbook Nook. The jewel tones of the Lily Bee Audrey papers are so pretty, I knew they'd go well with some pictures I had yet to scrap from our trip to Disneyland last Spring.

I've found a new love with those little alpha stickers from October Afternoon! They will be great for titles, on cards, journaling, etc. The flower on the upper right by the journal spot is one that I cut out of some of the patterned paper and then I took apart one of the little Prima flowers and used the metal center for the cut out paper flower. It's a simple page, one that didn't take too long to make. I used my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch for the left edge.

And, lastly for now, is this page with pictures of Hailey from a few weeks ago. I love that the package of Lily Bee tulle flowers included a couple of pink ones so that I could use them on this page. The page is a little experiment (that I hope worked out okay). I used my Stampin' Up! white craft ink pad there on the left side of the page to give place for the big Lily Bee rub-on and some journaling. The patterns are pretty but very large and busy and something I am still trying to figure out. I think this sheet with the black flowers is one of my favorites from the set.

I hope you all have a great day. Thank you for stopping by!

i love the cinderella page - great idea to deconstruct a flower to create a new one :D

cute cute...no surprise there. I like the flower idea too...sometimes you just get ugly flowers and it is better to tear them apart and make new ones.
