Texas blubonnets and a giveaway for you

Good morning!

Can you believe it's almost the weekend?

What are your plans?

We have eggs to dye and other eggs to hunt today and tomorrow and then I really want for Sunday to be focused on the real reason we celebrate Easter. I am trying to come up with some kind of meaningful "treat" for the kids in my class at church.

I guess I forgot to post my giveaway yesterday but you are in luck today. I mentioned something about wanting to share some of my HUGE stash of My Little Shoebox and that is just what I am going to do. I have paper and stickers and more alpha stickers and it's more than I will be able to use in this lifetime so I want to share with one of you. Simply leave a comment on this post before midnight Monday and you will be entered in the drawing. Good luck!

And now for a new layout! While we were on our camping trip with some family from Houston during Spring Break a couple of weeks ago the kids and all but me and Lily (she didn't sleep the night before so she took a LONG nap that morning) happened upon a patch of bluebonnets while out hiking. I am so glad that my sister-in-law loves to take pictures just like I do and she knew that I would be oh-so-grateful for the pictures of my girls with the pretty flowers.

For this layout I used some Crate Paper (woodgrain background from last year's Christmas collection), American Crafts blue Thickers, Queen and Company pearls and everything else (stickers, diecuts, paper) came from the Farmhouse collection by October Afternoon.

Have a wonderful day, a very happy Easter, and don't forget to leave a comment on this post for your chance to win a box full of scrappy supplies! I will announce a winner next Tuesday.

and one more MLS page

Hello again!

It's the middle of the week already.

How is it going for you?

It is always crazy at our house but I am trying my best to keep up with things with the the kids and their various needs and activities.

Today I'll share with you one more of my final projects for My Little Shoebox using the Lovely Day collection.

Here are some detail shots of the butterflies I punched in lots of different sizes (yes, I have a few butterfly punches. I think I might need therapy. I probably have 6 different ones.)

I think that tomorrow we should have a giveaway.

What do you think?

I've gained quite a bit of My Little Shoebox papers and stickers and things over the last year because the ladies at MLS are SO very generous in supplying product to the team. I will pass on some of that to a lucky reader so check back tomorrow!

Have a great day!

one of my last MLS projects

The new My Little Shoebox design team was announced yesterday and over the next couple of weeks they'll be sharing some work of the ladies no longer on the team.

Today I am going to share with you one of my final assignments for MLS using the new Lovely Day collection.

I added a bit of twine to the flower centers (Fiskars daisy punch)

and I really like the pop of color it added to mix up the colors of the alphas in the title.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

This was for a free-for-all assignment where we got to mix as many collections as we wanted to ☺

And a little gift box that I made using the Keepsake collection:

Aren't those 3-D flowers so pretty? The My Little Shoebox diecuts make it so easy!

Keepsake by My Little Shoebox

Good morning!

We just finished up Spring Break here and had such a great time camping with family. The weather was perfect, the setting so beautiful and calm. The kids had such a wonderful time playing with their cousins. I took about 400 pictures on that short trip (I know, crazy) and you'll see them popping up on layouts soon!

For today I have a layout to share. This one uses the cute new Keepsake collection from My Little Shoebox. I loved the bright colors in the collection, the mix of pink and aqua and gray and yellow. SO cute!

Isn't the collection so adorable?
Check back tomorrow for a couple more My Little Shoebox projects.

some cards using My Little Shoebox

My assignment for My Little Shoebox this month was to create a bunch of cards using the Destinations collection.

Because of all of the CHA sneaks these haven't made it up on the MLS blog yet but I thought I'd go ahead and share a few with you today. This collection is fun with its bright images and it can be used for themed projects and a wide variety of others as you will see here;

These all use the Destinations collection which is very "themey", but as you can see, I have used them for a variety of cards and only one of which is real "themey".

Do you like My Little Shoebox? I just received two of the brand new collections and just might have a giveaway this coming week if there is some interest. ☺

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

some My Little Shoebox

Good morning!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for Stephanie's blog hop yesterday. I think we can safely say that we gave her a nice surprise on her birthday. She had more surprises waiting at her office that I hope she enjoyed as well. Laura Vegas, our design team leader, did such a great job organizing everything!

I am up to my ears in Christmas prep and lots of scrappy projects (some I will share with you in about a week since it's for a fun guest design spot) so that I can meet my deadlines before Christmas. Right now the companies are in full-speed-ahead mode as they prepare for the coming trade show next month where the new products will be released. I am getting so anxious to see what new things will be coming our way and excited to get to create some things for the show!

I thought I'd just share a quick card today using some cute products from My Little Shoebox:

And, I don't think I've shared this here yet:

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning!

I'm still feeling a bit under the weather so this will be another quick post today.

It's hard when the mama is not feeling well because things still have to get done and kids have to be taken care of.

Here's a quick share of some My Little Shoebox projects for November using the Enchanted Garden collection:

Thank you so much for stopping by!

My Little Shoebox Winter Wonderland Blog Hop

***please scroll down for the Shabby Apple Dress giveaway****

Good morning and welcome to our Winter Wonderland inspirational Card Blog Hop with My Little Shoebox.

Now that the weather is getting a bit chilly and Christmas is just around the corner we thought it would be a great time to share with  you the new collection from My Little Shoebox called Winter Wonderland.

You should have arrived here from Norine's blog. If not, please start the hop at Kristine Berc's blog and follow the links through to the end.

There will be two sets of the Winter Wonderland collection chosen randomly from those who comment on one of the participating blogs. The more comments you leave the more chances you have to win! The prize winners will be announced on the My Little Shoebox blog on Tuesday!

For today I have created a set of cards using this new collection along with the cute snowflake stamp from Unity Stamp Co/MLS.

Aren't the cardstock stickers adorable?

Some more cardstock stickers along with some of our cute glitter alphas and new mini alphas.

Card created using the snowflake stamp co-branded with Unity Stamps. I stamped the snowflake in aqua, added some Stickles glitter glue and pearl centers.

I hope that you have enjoyed the card hop so far and that you've been inspired to create some of you own holiday cards this year.

Your next stop is Linda Kretz

Have a great day and thanks so much for hopping along with us.
