Hello and welcome to the SRM Stickers Halloween hop.

Are you enjoying the hop so far?

We have some extremely talented ladies on the SRM team and I hope that these ideas are getting you all excited for Halloween.

You should have started with the fabulous Tania Willis and after hopping along should have arrived here from the wonderful Tobi Crawford's blog. If not, head back to the beginning and stop at each blog for lots of great inspiration and leave a comment on each blog, then return to the SRM Stickers blog, leave a comment there and cross your fingers that you'll be one of the lucky winners of a great SRM Stickers prize package. Winners will be announced on the SRM Stickers blog on Tuesday the 12th.

Here is a simple little card using Bo Bunny paper and some cute SRM stickers.

and a look at the front of the box:
I re-purposed an old Maya Road tin to create this little goodie box.

and some more news

Okay, just so you know, when I applied for these manufacturer teams I didn't think I'd get on even one. That's just my luck. I don't usually get picked, I'm like the last person chosen for dodgeball because that's just me. I am always happy to congratulate everyone else and I have definitely gotten lots more no's than yes's when applying for different teams, and that's okay because I've loved the teams I've been a part of.

But, to get onto the American Crafts team- blew me away and it still doesn't seem real- and then to get the guest spot at Lily Bee with Kim Watson- and to be back on the Nook team and now this...well, I my head is spinning.

I didn't even know about this one until my sister-in-law, Ginger, called this morning to congratulate me and I had no idea what she was talking about. Is this crazy or what?

Our returning team members:
Juliana Michaels
Patti Milazzo
Carole Janson
Shanna Vineyard

Our new USA team members:
Becky Williams
Robbie Herring
Debbie Sherman
Sarah Eclavea
Frances Sylvia

Our new members from around the world:
Mireille Divjak - Netherlands
Jolanda - Netherlands
Irene Tan - Malaysia
Tomoko Takahashi - Japan
Luzma Bruna - Chile
Malin Wiggur - Sweden
Agnieska Piskorz - Poland
Christiane Miller - Germany
Kathleen Glossop - Australia
Michele Beck - France
Celi Mara - Brazil
Carin McDonough - UK
Samantha Wright - South Africa
Janis Medina - Philippines
Tara Orr - Canada
Gabrielle Pollacco - Canada

Congrats to all of the girls who made the team. It looks like I am going to be a very busy girl. I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment but I'm just going to have fun and enjoy the ride while it lasts. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen to me.

super quick post today and a Nook card sketch challenge

Today is going to be/has been a busy day...just lots to catch up on and do and things to get ready so today's post will be super quick.

I'll share a quick couple of cards that I made using the Bo Bunny "Petal Pushers" collection.

I hope that you're having a wonderful day!

Check back tomorrow for some fun with American Crafts. Yes, I am going to throw my hat in the ring for the design team call once again...I think this will be time #3 and while I may never make the team it is always fun to try. And, can you imagine the fun I could have with all of those Thickers and other fun things?!

We are starting something new at My Scrapbook Nook- Card Sketch Tuesdays. The first sketch is up on the message board along with a sample card by our very-talented Jenny!

Here's the sketch and you can find all of the information here:

Thanks for stopping by!

tutu girls and Bo Bunny

Did you enjoy the fireworks last night? I was worried that our show would be cancelled because of the rainy weather we've been having the last 3 or 4 days but the skies cleared up and there were fireworks all around us, at the nearby park and in the neighborhoods closeby as well as on our own street. I was just hoping they wouldn't catch fire to our lawn as I watched from my upstairs window.

I told the girls that if they'd go to sleep I'd wake them up to watch the fireworks. After Matt went to work I started on a scrapbook page and not too long after started hearing the sounds of the fireworks. I tried and tried to wake up the girls but with no luck. I knew I'd be in trouble from my oldest, especially, but I made an effort and they just kept on sleeping. At about 10:30 Aimee wandered up the stairs and we were able to watch some of the fireworks together. It was strange to watch from the window instead of being right there but it was better than missing them altogether.

While on our vacation last month (remind me to post some pictures, okay?) I got to stop in at the local Archiver's store with my sister in Colorado. She's a scrapper, too, and she thought it would be a fair trade for us to go to the scrapbook store since the guys got to go to a Colorado Rockies game. As I perused the store I found some of the Bo Bunny Petal Pushers collection I'd been eyeing and decided to buy some and it was perfect for some pictures of the girls in their little tutus.

I did a lot of hand cut work for the flowers on this page- the Petal Pushers paper was perfect for that.

Have a wonderful day! We're going to play outside, blow some bubbles, ride bikes and go visit Grandma and Grandpa Williams for a while to play with the cousins. Oh, and take some library books back so Hailey can keep working on her summer reading.

p.s. do you remember my layout from the SRM/Cosmo Cricket DeLovely blog hop? I posted it at Two Peas and it's in the #2 spot for most bookmarked and in the top 10 for most viewed  as well as the "Bike Rider" layout I made using a mix of Cosmo. It's so fun!

Bo Bunny blog hop

Welcome to SRM's Bo Bunny blog hop!

It's been such an honor and so  much fun to play with SRM Stickers these last few months as a member of the SRM design team and it's even more fun when we get freebies like the Cosmo Cricket last month and the Bo Bunny for this month. We've been so spoiled!!! Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Just in case you have stumbled upon my blog please head to the SRM Stickers blog for today's blog hop order. We'll have more Bo Bunny fun for you tomorrow as well so be sure to check back there for the blogs you'll get to visit and for more Bo Bunny and SRM Stickers projects. Please make sure to visit all of the blogs each day and then return to the SRM Stickers blog and leave a comment to let us know you've finished the hop for the day. A random winner will be chosen each day to win a fabulous SRM Stickers prize!!!You have until midnight Sunday night to finish the hop.

You should have arrived here from Tobi's blog. Welcome!!!!

I was so excited to get the new Bo Bunny collection, Flower Child, to play with for this blog hop. The colors are bright and cheery, perfect for summery photos and perfect for the SRM stickers that I chose to use for this layout. It's like the two were made for each other! (I have to admit, though, that I haven't met a combo I didn't like when SRM stickers were in the mix, but then again, I'm a little biased).

Here's the layout I created for this blog hop:

Bo Bunny Flower Child collection paper, chipboard and embellishment pack (buttons, gems)
Bo Bunny orange polka dot ribbon

These little circle stickers made perfect little tabs above my picture of Hailey happily swinging.
Aren't the colors just perfect for this collection?

What some of you might not know is that there are also journal spots included on some of the sticker sheets. If you know me and my scrapping very well at all you know that I LOVE journal spots! The little "havin' a ball" is also an SRM sticker. No longer will I ever think that these stickers are just for cards. They are perfect for cards, layouts, altered items, the fun calendars that SRM also sells and they work on paper, fabric and more. The possibilities really are endless with these stickers.

Your next stop in the hop will be to visit the fabulous Amy Heller! I just know that she'll have some incredible things to share with you.

Remember, visit all of the blogs in the hop and then leave a comment at the SRM blog for your chance to win a prize. The hop will close at midnight Sunday May 2nd.

Happy hopping!

April challenge at SRM Stickers is up!

SRM Stickers is taking the scrapbooking world by storm and it's been so much fun to be a part of it all.

This last week we finished up our "Crafting with Cosmo" week and also finished up our March baby challenge and today the April challenge is up- all about circles! You can play along for a chance to be a guest designer for SRM. Check out the details here:
             http://srm-stickers.blogspot.com/2010/04/march-challenge-winnerapril-challenge.html

Here is the layout I created for this challenge:

I used Bo Bunny's new "Flower Child" collection for this page along with these SRM Stickers:
39045 Outdoors, 50002 Spring, 40098 May,
42028 Mother's Day, 42030 Outdoors
Cardstock is by Core'dinations and it was generously donated for our team as was the Bo Bunny. Thank you Core'dinations and Bo Bunny!

The black sayings and the flower stickers are all from SRM.

Have I mentioned (only a zillion times, right?) how fun these stickers are? They are perfect for cards but also so much fun to use on layouts and other projects. You can get some of your own here .

We just finished up dyeing eggs (Aimee got a little crazy and has blue fingers now) and had an egg hunt and now it's time for the Mama to go take a rest.

I hope you're having a great weekend!
