guest designing for Bella Blvd!

Hello!

How is your week going so far?

I enjoyed the time that I had as part of the Bella Blvd design team so of course I said YES! when Laura Vegas asked if I would like to be the "Bella of the Ball" for Bella Blvd's newsletter this month.

I got to create two layouts for the newsletter using two of the brand new collections from this past CHA.

Here they are!

I had fun with some paint on the background of this one ☺ Of all of the papers in the Family Forever collection this diagonally-striped paper was my favorite. I really like the yellow, surprisingly enough!

Here is a close-up shot so that you can see more of the details:

For this next page I got to use the Molly collection:

As a mom of 4 girls this collection was so much fun to work with. I really like the new Candid Cards and added in lots of Designer Tapes under my die-cut base.

That cute little fox was cut from one of the Candid Cards, as was the pink flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

love these girls; playing with paint and mist

**Please check post below for your chance to win a spot in the upcoming PageMapsU Card class!

I will be participating along with many of your favorite cardmakers. Here is a peek of one of my cards:

It's another day, another chance to make it a better one than the day before.

I had a rough mom night with some of my kids last night...they were being difficult and I gave in and lost my cool. I had to ask for their forgiveness. It is a good thing they are so forgiving. I am trying to be better.

Have you ever been there before?

I do love my girls; they are sweet and creative and smart and amaze me all the time.

Here is a page that I created yesterday in about 15 minutes using product I had right on my desktop; white cardstock background (American Crafts cardstock is my fave), a tag from Bella Blvd, a vellum cut by the talented Jennifer Chapin, mist from Heidi Swapp, wood veneer shapes that I cut using wood paper from ARC Crafts, tape from Queen & Co, American Crafts glitter Thickers, some craft paint and a Studio Calico acetate word.

The pictures of my girls are from Sarah's birthday; I wanted to get some pictures of her before we left for church and Lily did not want to be left out of the action. ♥

The tapes are from Queen & Co's new release; I worked on some CHA projects for Wendy and was able to snag some tape from my sister-in-law who was here visiting and also working on Q&Co projects.

That little yellow tag is from one of Bella Blvd's brand new releases- so cute! I tucked a heart underneath and added a few wood veneer stars punched from the ARC bark paper.

Have a fantastic day!

mixing and matching papers with Bella Blvd

One of my favorite things to do in my scrapbooking projects is mixing papers from different collections.

Not only does it give better variety to a page but it gives you so many more options when creating.

For my final assignment as a member of the Bella Blvd design team I was asked to mix and match the current collections which I did here:

I wanted to keep a clean look on my layout while still being able to mix a lot of different patterns so I decided to cut small strips of many papers and layer them as you see here. I mixed papers from the Snapshots, Daily Chevies, Trick or Treat and Christmas Countdown collections.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Project Life and Bella Blvd

One of the new features at Bella Blvd is showing how to do Project Life with Bella Blvd products.

The cards included in each collection make it easy to do the PL format.

I haven't yet started scrapping in the PL style with the sectioned page protectors so I created a layout using the same block style on a traditional page.

I used the new Snapshots collection for this page mixing in a bit of Trick or Treat (grid background) and lots of Designer Tape to jazz up the little cards.

Do you do Project Life in some style?

Thanks for stopping by today!

quick cards today

Hello once again.

Today I have a couple of quick cards to share with you:

This one was made using a mix of Bella Blvd Designer Tapes and a card from the Play Date collection.

I made this using part of the cover of an Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go album, flowers and Thickers.

Have a nice weekend!

Christmas Countdown from Bella Blvd

Good afternoon!

I am a little behind today since we spent the morning at the park with one of Sarah's little friends from gymnastics. We switched gyms a couple of years ago so they don't see each other much anymore. It was fun to hang out and catch up on things.

Here is the brand new Christmas Countdown collection from Bella Blvd:

My favorite part of this collection (love it all- it's so cute and fun) is the Paper Pieces pack.

And here is a layout that I created with the collection:

new Daily Chevies and Evertday Bits from Bella Blvd

This was my favorite of the new releases from Bella. I like the bright colors and LOVE chevron stripes. The heart paper is so cute as are the little cards but my favorite piece has to be this patterned paper:

I can see using lots of this one, especially for page backgrounds. I think that Stephanie should make this one in lots of colors and add it to the Sophisticates line. Don't you think so?

Here is a layout that I created for CHA using this collection:

Brand new Bella Blvd Trick or Treat collection!

Today the new Halloween collection, Trick or Treat, is being revealed on the Bella Blvd blog.

I think that the Halloween images are cute and fun but the page that I got most excited about was this one:

There was a paper similar to this one in the Family Dynamix collection. I ordered some extras because I like to use it for backgrounds so I was thrilled to see that one had been added to this collection as well.

Here is a layout that I created for the Bella booth at CHA:

Head over to the Bella blog for your chance to win some of this cute collection!

Have a great day!

Brand New Play Date collection from Bella Blvd

We are back with another reveal at Bella Blvd, this time the Play Date collection.

Play Date is a fun, colorful collection with clouds and flowers and some fun geometric patterns. I like the new triangle ones that Stephanie has added to a few of the collections. One of my favorite parts of this collection are the new Captions stickers. So fun!

Here is a closer look at Play Date in action:

What do you think about this collection? If you'd like to have a chance to win some before it's available in stores head on over and leave a comment on the Bella Blvd blog.
