Basic Grey Highline collection layout

Hello again!

Today I have a layout to share with you, one that I created for Basic Grey for this past CHA.

This layout uses the brand new Highline collection:

I cut the circle background on my Silhouette Cameo and filled in the holes with bits of patterned paper and embellishments from the Highline collection. The "Sweet" was cut from one of the patterned papers.

I love this picture of Hailey. She is such a sweet, talented, smart and beautiful girl. She is a bit shy and quite the perfectionist. I really like it when I can capture her joy.

Have a great day!

some more Basic Grey booth projects

Good morning!

I thought I'd shared all of my Basic Grey booth projects from CHA but just realized that I missed a collection!

Today I will share with you the cards that I made with the brand new, bright and colorful Highline collection.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Tomorrow I will share a layout that I created with this same beautiful collection.

Now I am off to wake up kids for school and take care of one little girlie who is sick with strep.
Maybe I can get some scrapping in today while she rests.

Sharing some Basic Grey Capture cards

Hey there!

With new collections being revealed by manufacturers this week I can finally share what I have been working on. I showed you a layout that I made with the new Capture line by Basic Grey and now I will share some cards that I created with that collection.

I cut these little sentiments from one of the sheets of patterned paper.

For this one I used a bunch of the cute new stickers and enamel shapes.

For this next card I used a cut file created on my Silhouette Cameo and strips of paper from the collection.

This is such a fun collection. I hope that you have enjoyed getting a closer look at the new Capture line.

Check back for more projects with other Basic Grey releases, some work I did for Queen and Company and some recent work for Pebbles Inc. as well as some other fun extra projects. I've been scrapping like crazy lately and it's been so much fun and a much-needed stress reliever for me.

new Capture collection from Basic Grey!

I had the pleasure of working with some of the brand new collections from Basic Grey recently as I made samples for their booth at CHA. My favorite of these collections, Capture, has been revealed on the Basic Grey blog today.

This line is bright and happy, filled with lots of fun and bold patterns. It is a great everyday line!

There are so many fun embellishments for this collection including epoxy shapes, tape and fun stickers.

I will share a few cards later!

What do you think of the line so far?

Do you love it? I do ♥

Make sure to check the Basic Grey blog for a full reveal of this fun collection!

in the middle of CHA prep here...

I apologize for the lack of posts lately.

I HAVE been creating but it's been for the big CHA trade show so I haven't been able to share any of that yet.

I got my Bella Blvd projects shipped off, then got Queen and Co. done and am Lily Bee should be here tomorrow! Hopefully I can share some sneaks soon and get some other projects done that I CAN share.

Here is a little Lily Bee card that I haven't posted yet to tide you over:

It's super simple but a good way to use up some scraps.

Have a happy Saturday!

Bella Blvd Thankful collection sneak!

One of the cute new Bella Blvd collections that I got to use for my CHA projects is Thankful. It is a fun twist on the traditional fall color palette with some pink and blue thrown in for good measure. There are great fall patterns and others that are great for everyday pages on any theme. You are sure to love it!

Here is a peek at one of the projects that I created with this collection. You can see more detailed images of Thankful on the Bella Blvd blog including each of the papers and coordinating embellishments. I will share the rest of this page soon!

Check the Bella blog for more projects, images and a Thankful giveaway!

how about a sneak of my CHA projects

Since it's Saturday and the CHA trade show is underway I have permission to share what I was working on for the show.

Here's a peek at a birthday collection that I made using the new Spotted Owl Soup collection from Jillibean Soup:

For the show I created a banner, some party hats, paper blowers (4), party favors (the bubbles), an invite, a wrapped present with the fancy bow below and a couple of treat boxes. It was so much fun!

Here is one of the blowers, the invite and the bubbles. I just love those little owls and couldn't resist adding the little googly eyes.

The party hats and another shot of the bubbles and blowers.

A close-up of the banner with more of those cute owls.

Isn't it a cute collection? It's great for birthdays but there are some prints as well that are versatile enough for everyday use. I love that about Jillibean ♥

Have a wonderful weekend!

p.s. you can see a peek of these things in the Jillibean booth at CHA on Summer Fullerton's blog:

lookey lookey

Guess what? I have my first projects at this summer CHA.

Just take a look at this picture that Summer Fullerton posted on her blog with Paula acting as Vanna White. Thanks so much you guys!

Summer said, "Hey Becky I got Paula to play Vannah White to get a this shot especially for you."

The layout on the Soup Staples board is mine (remember the picture that I posted a while back with my girls covered in paint?) and so is the little flower card down on the right of that same board. Isn't that so fun?
