guest at Creative Scrappers and the September kit from My Scrapbook Nook

A little while back Creative Scrappers had a guest designer call.

I thought it would be a fun thing to do so I sent in my information and was lucky enough to get a positive response. The ladies are so fun at Creative Scrappers and I was excited to get to work with them on this sketch posted on their blog on Sunday.

This is the sketch that I was given to work with:

And here is my take, using some cute Echo Park papers and pics of my cute Aimee.

Make sure to check out the layouts from the other designers here:

I have to share this picture with you now that we have it:

This kit is full of Crate Paper's new Restoration collection, twine and ribbon, Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey alpha stickers and a fun mini album from Jenni Bowlin (check back here for my tutorial).
You can get your kit here: http://www.myscrapbooknook.org/club.shtml

My Scrapbook Nook and Creative Scrappers

For today we have another exciting reveal- My Scrapbook Nook teamed up with Creative Scrappers for another sketch. It was so fun to play along and now to be able to see what the rest of the team created. You can see it for yourself here: http://creativescrappers.blogspot.com/2010/04/nook-reveals.html

This is the sketch that we were given to work with, I rotated it 90 degrees to accomodate my picture:

And here's my layout, much more simple than I usually do.
This was created using the April kit from the Nook.

Oh, and in case you haven't heard the news, the May kit from My Scrapbook Nook will feature the new October Afternoon collection, "Fly A Kite." Add-ons went up yesterday and you wouldn't believe how quickly those sold! You can check the store to see what's left.

Have a great, scrappy day!
