On the night last week when I pulled out my Cosmo Cricket to make the layout I shared yesterday I also made this card. While I love the new, brightly colored DeLovely collection I also like the subdued colors in the Earth Love line.
Any Twilight fans out there? I took the girls to the library yesterday afternoon and after we picked out some books for them I finally gave in and picked up a copy of Twilight. I thought that maybe I'd stay up late reading but instead went to bed at the same time the girls did to help settle them during the storm last night and fell asleep. So, I haven't even read the first page! Looks like I have some reading to do today.
Also, we bought some more plants for our garden yesterday- tomatoes and zucchini, peas, cucumber, watermelon, spaghetti squash, etc. Along with my reading today I also have some planting to do.

p.s.s. I have a new love that I can't wait to scrap with- Sassafras just revealed their new line, Indie Girl and I am in love.
Isn't it so pretty? The color combo is just beautiful! You can bet you'll see this on a future page of mine.

You are the queen of ruffles, that card is sweet. Can't wait to see what you do with Sassafras, they're one of my toughest lines to work with, b/c they're so busy.
I for one, hope that Cosmo go back to the slightly distressed edges etc, lol. Earth was my love :)

I love your card. I'm always so jealous of people that make such amazing cards...they are not my thing. I try, but am never satisfied with mine.
What a gorgeous gorgeous card! I loved Earth Love too. You make me want to pull it out again! What a great idea to create a card when you're in a slump. I do that too, works a treat! Have you read any of Twilight yet?? You'll be hooked. Love the new Sass line too - can't wait to get that one :)
