I think it's time for me to do another giveaway*updated with more goodies**NOW CLOSED

I just got a huge box from American Crafts today and think it would be fun to do a giveaway.

Would you be interested in some fun new scrappy stuff?

Just leave a comment here telling me your favorite holiday tradition and I'll enter you in the drawing.

The winner will be chosen totally at random and I'll just throw together some AC for you to enjoy. Maybe I'll throw in some of the brand new Bo Bunny, too, since I have all of the new releases and haven't gotten to play with them yet and Kris at Bo Bunny is so generous and let me keep the new stuff even though I couldn't stay on the team. I really am so lucky. Maybe I'll throw in some Jillibean and some SRM and some Creative Charms, too. I have a lot of great things in my scrap room that have gotten lonely since I haven't been able to scrap much over the last month or so.

As soon as I choose what I'm going to include I'll edit this post with a picture of the goods.

how does that sound?

It'll be like an early Christmas for you!!!

I'll keep this open until the end of next week and then do a drawing for one lucky winner.

sounds good to me!!!! I love reading "the night before christmas" to the kid in our new jammies (the one present they get to open xmas eve). Just a fun and anxious night :)

Sounds like fun - count me in. The only thing better that AC goodies are free AC goodies. Thanks for a chance to win.

Oh, I forgot to tell you my favorite tradition - I love going to church on Christmas eve with my family. I love the carols and the candlelight.

oh pick me pick me! i am an american crafts junky. My favorite tradition is putting up the christmas tree the day after thanksgiving. Even though my family does the mad black friday shopping, we still have enough energy left to get the tree up in the afternoon.

Yes, I think it would be extreamly fun to win some AC goodies! One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking cookies {pillsbury pre-made of course- lol} w/ my kiddos and sitting them out for Santa. My boys are to the age that they really don't believe in Santa, but it's still fun to try and convince them that if they don't believe, they won't receive gifts from Santa!

I'd love to win some AC goodies! I honestly truly and absolutely love reading to my two boys The Night Before Christmas. Before we had kids, I would have my husband read it to me, just as my father did when I was little! Thanks for the chance to win.

The mojo does come back. ;) As far as traditions are concerned, I really love being at my home church on Christmas Eve. It just seems to *make* my Christmas.

My fave tradition is our wacky Christmas dinner. It's very non-traditional and has always consisted of only the foods the boys wanted for that meal. :) They are grown now, but baked mac & cheese, meatballs, popcorn shrimp and nachos and cheese are still always on the menu in addition to other funky foods. :)

Cynthia Baldwin said...

My favorite holiday tradition is counting down for Christmas! We have several advent calendars, and my kids take turns moving the numbers down 'til the big day. It's that sense of anticipation, excitement for the holidays that always makes this tradition my favorite. :)

Such a nice giveaway!!!! We've had the same Christmans tradition since our girls were little...on Christmas Eve they can open one gift - the gift is ALWAYS new Christmas PJS, so they look cute for all the pictures!!!It hasn't been a surpirse for years but they still look forward to the gift just as much!

awesome give away!! very generous!!

I love that when I was growing up there was a street that had every house decorated and leading up to christmas they would close it off so that the public could walk up and down it looking at each house. Every year we went there on Christmas Eve and then went home to christmas music, yummy food and lots of family talking and catching up. I come from a huge family so it is the only time of the year we all get together.

goatesgirl said...

whatever you decide to throw together would be excellent to receive...well you asked for favorite holiday traditions and mine is making placemats...I know that sounds weird but every year for thanksgiving and sometimes christmas, we make placemats to decorate the table...usually we personally them for each guest and most times we laminate them so they can be reused

My favorite holiday tradition is to get together with family at my dad's house and celebrate Christmas.

Aussie TM5 Thermomixer said...

Becky, you are way too kind!!! I bet you must have alot of stuff hey. Every year we love to take a drive around to look at the lights on all the houses. There is a street in a suburb nearby to us, where every house participates in a Christmas lights competition and they go ALL OUT with their lights. The whole street is such a great atmosphere, there's music and people everywhere just looking at all the displays outside the houses. We love taking Jai to do that every year - and of course he loves it too!

My favourite tradition is a strange one, I think. DH and I celebrate Christmas Eve (that's when we celebrate X-mas in Sweden) on our own and I love that. It's all warmth and love and comfort. In the evening we usually take a long walk and look at all the lit up houses with all the trees and decor... I love that. I think it's my favourite bit! :D

Awesome Giveaway!! My favorite holiday tradition (besides all of the food that each family member is known for making every year) is that my mom always made us wait at our bedroom door every Christmas morning until she turned on lights and got her camera ready before we were allowed to come into the room to see our Christmas presents which resulted in fabulous photos of all the kids darting into the room with fantastic expressions on our faces so I have decided to continue this tradition with my own kids and just LOVE it!

Hope you get a ton of traffic here - I'm gonna go post this on FB.

well our holiday traditions have had to change just a bit - because I am from the southern hemisphere where Christmas is summertime!!.. - and now I live in the northern hemisphere - it's all topsy turvy LOL. So a new tradition we have started is the going out and cutting down of the Christmas tree at one of the many farms around here. Always a fun day - we take lots of pics (now we take video!!) and then we all go out for a late lunch early dinner - it is always a fantastic day!

curlyqmosaics said...

OMG! What a massive giveaway! You are too generous! What holiday traditions do we have? Every since the first Christmas my husband and I were together, we have what is called our "family tree." It is in addition to our regular/massive Christmas tree. The only ornaments hung on this particular tree are ones that we give to one another each year. We each pick a special ornament about each other with some type of symbolic meaning. My 2 boys receive them as well. Since we have started this, we have about 60 ornaments on the tree now, each with it's own meaning. Not to mention each of my boys will have a set of ornaments to take with them when they grow up. I love it more every year!

Terri L said...

We always have Enchaladas and Tacos on Christmas Eve. It was something my husband and I started our first year and now 22 years later have kept it going.
