sharing an American Crafts project

Since this was from the American Crafts blog back in September I thought it would be fun to share it with you here now, in it's entirety, instead of just a tiny peek.

This was my first project as a member of the AC team and when given the assignment to alter something, anything, I wasn't sure what to do at first and then got to work on this flower-shaped mirror that I bought at Hobby Lobby. The Dear Lizzy Spring collection was perfect for this project and is one of my all-time favorites.

And a couple of detail shots:

I used my little Martha Stewart butterfly punch on some of the Dear Lizzy paper and then added a silver brad to the center. I just LOVE that rose trim! And, the rose paper was just begging to be cut into.

another look at the gorgeous rosette trim.

Have a great day!
