Yes, it's always been one of my faves since I started scrapping back in the day. I still have some of the "vintage" papers from way back when. I love the bold colors and patterns and happy designs.
I think you would fall over if you saw the AC stash in my scrap room. Of course LOTS of it was free, thank goodness, because I think it would break the bank to have to BUY all of it. I keep telling my husband that yes, I have lots of stuff but so much of it was free for my being on different design teams and supplies that came back with Scrapbook Trends magazine publications. I hope it eases his mind a bit when he looks around.
For this assignment I was asked to use some of my current favorites from American Crafts.
It turned out to be my last assignment as a member of the AC team and I am so happy for the year I had as a design team member there. I shared a sneak here on my blog before but now I'll share the whole thing.
This is my Aimee in our little pool this summer. I think this was the FIRST one, the one we had before our bassett hound chewed it up. I knew I should have emptied the pool and put it away but didn't and that pool is history. It was only about 2 feet deep but the girls loved getting in and splashing around.
It's a lot of mixing and matching of different collections, some hand-cutting and fun stuff like clouds and butterflies and cute embellishments.
And here is the card that I made for the same assignment:
I ♥ you, American Crafts!!
