We got some rain- it was pouring for a while!
I'm afraid it's too late for the cotton farmers here but very much a welcome blessing.
I have been wondering if they will cancel soccer games because the fields are too muddy.
I guess we'll just wait and see.
For now I'll share with you one of the layouts that I created for the Bella Blvd. design team call and will share the others soon as well. I'm hoping that rainy weather today will allow for some much-needed scrappy time.
These are pictures of Aimee, almost 4, from her sisters' first day of school this year. She wanted SO badly to be able to go to school, too. So much, in fact, that she insisted on wearing her backpack when we took them to school.
I used a mix of Bella Blvd products for this page. I really like their alphas and the fact that they come in so many different sizes and colors. I was running low on the red ones so I improvised. The "b" is actually a Q and the "m" is a W but I think it turned out cute using the alphas that way. The flower punch is from Fiskars and believe it or not, I found it on clearance at Joann's. It was only $5- cheaper than the die-cut I was contemplating and it's so cute! I've used it a ton already. The twine is from the Twinery and the buttons are American Crafts.
She is such a funny girl, such a sweetie. Yes, she has her moments (don't we all?!) but mostly she's just a big sweetheart with an even bigger laugh and personality. She is going to be a force to be reckoned with in this world. I just know it.
I have some other fun things to share in the coming week, a fun little guest designer spot that I got to do for this month.
Have a great weekend!
