I can still remember back to when we were saying, "Welcome to the year 2000," the year when everyone was worried about "Y2K" and people were clearing store shelves of food and other supplies.
It looks like we all survived ok. ha ha.
Last year passed with lots of great things in our family, some hard and crazy times and unexpected twists and turns in the road so I am anxious to see what this new year will bring.
Thank you all for your sweet comments and for visiting my little ol' blog now and then.
Today I am up way too early as usual, trying to get some things ready for the new year at church with new classes and teachers and things in the kids' Primary organization. I am the secretary and I've been updating documents and printing and now printing things again.
I am about to head back to bed but thought I'd share a few more Pebbles Inc. projects that I did for my guest stint with them.
First off, this layout of baby Lily. You can't see it very well in the picture but she has a long string of drool from her mouth to the floor. She has been quite a drooler lately; I just knew she was cutting teeth and sure enough, she got her first two teeth at the beginning of last month.
I used the Fresh Goods collection for this one and a mix of alphas from that collection and the new With Love line. I think that I have a thing for banner strips lately because I used them on this page and the page I posted the other day. I didn't realize until after the Pebbles post went up that these two layouts turned out a bit similar in design. It was completely unintentional. It's funny how that happens sometimes.
I used a couple of the little sticky notes on this page and love the layered chipboard flowers. Of course staples have become quite a, um, staple on my pages. Yeah, not funny, I know, but I use them on just about everything I make.
Yes, I am a bit of a twine addict. I just ordered some Valentine's baker's twine and got a great discount on that and some Christmas twine from Pebbles In My Pocket. It should be here on Monday! I love it when manufacturers (like Pebbles, Jillibean Soup) add twine to their collections.
I also created this little mailbox and cards using the With Love collection:
I have one more layout and card to share with you tomorrow.
For now, have a great scrappy day!
