another quick layout share in honor of NSD

Life has been crazy; can any of you relate to that lately?

My goodness it's been busy and good and sad and crazy.

My house reflects a bit of that craziness that's been going on but I've had lots of opportunities to spend time with those who really needed me, laundry has eventually found its way to it's proper place and my kids have been going to bed relatively well the last couple of nights.

I have been working on some things that can soon be shared but for now I have this simple little layout using the adorable Pretty Party collection from Crate Paper. I took some detail shots but because I haven't been feeling quite up to par I didn't take the time to edit them. You get the gist, right? There aren't too many hidden details on this page. I journaled about what Lily has been up to and used lots of the cute stickers in the Pretty Party collection. I love using those little banner strips, love that they add lots of color and variety without adding too much bulk.

This weekend is National Scrapbook Day and in honor of NSD I am getting together with a friend tomorrow to do some scrapping! I will try to work on some non-assignment things that I'll be able to share with you right away.

I just got a big package from Lifestyle Crafts, too, with lots of fun die-cut shapes so I might have to try those out this weekend, too.

I'm headed to the girls' gymnastics showcase on Saturday and I am sure that I'll take at least a few pictures to be shared on future layouts while I'm there.
