it's Saturday!

Yes, I am so anxious for the weekend- not because we don't get enough play time during the week (the last few days have been pretty relaxed/lazy around here) but because it means that my husband is almost at the end of his week of graveyard shifts. While he's on this schedule we don't get to see him that much and the kids tend to get tired of just me, I think, and by the end of the week I am ready for a break, too.

So, today we are headed to the library, are going to watch LOTS of the Olympics (did you watch the Opening Ceremonies last night?) and I am going to try to put together some shelves for my girls' closet.

For now I have some sneaks to share of some things I've been working on and later today I just might have to play a bit because my first box from American Crafts is set to arrive! To say that I've been watching the updates on the tracking report would be putting it mildly. I can't wait to see what's in the box!
