Good morning!

Another week has come and gone and I can't hardly believe that in just three short weeks my kids will be back in school. The Summer has flown by so quickly!

We've had a lot of fun, have played a lot, been swimming lots, went on some quick trips, spent time with family here and there, had a few ups and downs but for the most part it has been a good Summer. I hope that the kids have had a good time. On the day documented in the layout below we'd spent the morning playing at the park and then went to Sonic for lunch with friends. It was a fun day.

I used the Fancy Pants "Wonderful Day" collection on this page and really like the bright colors and bold patterns. I wish that I was better at scrapping with the frilly, vintage, shabby papers but the honest truth is that I am not. And I am okay with it. I am amazed by those who can create beautiful pages with flowers and things but it is just my strong suit, I guess. I will leave that to the experts ☺and continue to scrap with bright, happy, colorful papers and things. I think that's why I get along so well with the companies I design for right now!

I cut the heart from one of the 4x6 cards in the collection and then added some doodling around it.
The chipboard alphas are from American Crafts.

What is your scrappy style preference? Clean and graphic? Shabby chic? Vintage?

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
