learning to crochet *American Crafts

One of the things on my older girls' bucket list for this summer was to learn how to crochet. They were quite persistent about reminding me that I needed to teach them so one Sunday we sat down and I showed them how. They were having fun making the longest crochet chains ever:


I used the My Girl collection from American Crafts


I thought it would be fun to add some actual crochet to the page so I used some AC twine to make some chains and like that it adds some fun and texture to my layout.


They were so proud of their work!

That's excellent! No longer than a week ago I tried the same with a young cousin of my kids! Will have to repeat that and make a layout? ;-) Thanks for sharing!
