Hello to the weekend!

Good morning!

Are you ready for the weekend?

I sure am. I have been battling strep throat and a sinus infection this week and I am so ready for a break from all of the hustle and bustle of taking kids all of the places they need to go. I think we are all ready to stay home and relax for a couple of days.

I've been creating some Valentine's Day cards with the "Yours Truly" collection from Pebbles Inc. and decided to use one of the journaling cards to make a more everyday type of card.

To create the inked background I swiped an aqua ink pad from American Crafts across the card base a few times until I had the coverage that I wanted. I then added some Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine mist, a few punched stars and then the "hello" with foam adhesive. I wrapped a bit of Pebbles black and white twine around the top. 

I like to make the most of my scrapbooking supplies so being able to use a Valentine's-themed collection for everyday projects is a great thing for me.
