a Hailey page and some Jenni Bowlin

I love the classic, vintage look of Jenni Bowlin products so it was fun to play with them some yesterday. These papers were leftovers from my February Scrapbook Nook kit, and I thought they would look good with this cute pic of Hailey from earlier in the year wearing her red Christmas dress.

I'm not sure how I feel about this page. I mean, I like it, but parts of it look like I just threw some product on there. I think I was feeling tired and grumpy while working on this since it wasn't coming together the way I wanted it to. I do like how the ruffle turned out, love how that looks on the edge of the die-cut paper. I've been having issues with my sewing machine so I opted to staple the ruffle on instead of sewing it on. Maybe one of these days I'll get a new one that actually works for me.

Beautiful little girl and layout. Lovin' the ruffles and how you trimmed the JB paper.

wow, i missed this one - i decided to leave the laptop off during the Easter weekend. love the ruffle. still don't know how to do that around a shaped boarder. this must be more than just one long strip right?! guess i'll just have to jump in and giv-er a shot. i think it's a great layout.
