Main Street parade at Disneyland

Upon our arrival at Disneyland last Monday we knew immediately that something huge was about to take place. Main Street was crowded with hundreds of people on both sides, there was an excitement in the air and loud music and bright colors were everywhere. We quickly settled into a place along the curb awaiting the show that would soon begin. In not too much time Disney characters and cast members came down the street singing and dancing, riding bikes and walking on stilts. We saw Peter Pan and Wendy, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tigger and Pooh, Pluto and Goofy, Donald and Daisy Duck, Woody from Toy Story, Chip and Dale, Alice and the Mad Hatter and many, many more. The excitment was palpable, the looks on our girls' faces delightful. Even more fun was when Hailey got pulled from the crowd to dance with one of the cast members. I don't think she quite knew what to do!




What a thrill it was to be at Disneyland!!
