Domestic Goddess card

I have lots of mini albums sitting around in my scrapbooking stash and I thought I'd put one to use the other day. I traced around part of one of the pages (a Cosmo Cricket Blackboard mini, thanks, Leah!!)and used it for the front of my card (finish size for the card is about 5 1/4 x 6 inches).

This paper is, of course, from the Domestic Goddess collection from Graphic 45 along with some other kit supplies that I've been working with for My Scrapbook Nook this month.

Here is a detail shot. I cut the little paper flowers from one of the sheets of Domestic Goddess paper, inked the edges and the curved up the petals. The black and white patterned paper in the background was perhaps my favorite one of this collection. I simply layered the papers and trims and did some inking and faux stitching around the edges and voila! Oh, the brighter green paper is part of the package insert from some of the Prima flowers included in the October My Scrapbook Nook kit.

Have a great night! I should go do dishes but I think I'd rather be scrapping. :)

Ever have a day like that?

Gorgeous card Becky! Love all the textures and patterns you used. Way to go "green" with recycling the Prima package insert.
