so happy together

I have four little girls, as many of you know, and sometimes they are at each other like wild hyenas and sometimes, to save my sanity and remind me why I love them so much, they get along really well and actually act like they love each other.

I hope that I am not alone in saying that.

Kids are kids and sometimes they get along great, sometimes not so much.

These two kids, my #2 and #4, typically get along pretty well.

I love that Sarah takes such good care of Lily who is about 5 years younger than she is.

I kept the design pretty simple by first spritzing the background with spray ink and then adding strips of paper from a variety of manufacturers. Many of y'all know that this is my favorite thing to do. I tend to do better mixing and matching than just using items from one collection.

The diecut circles were leftover from another project and were sitting out on my desk. The rub-on paint strips were from Amy Tangerine and I just tucked three of them randomly on the page. The little flower is from my older stash and is from Basic Grey.

I am trying to get back into a groove...I haven't done very many projects in the last little while. I feel a bit like I am trying to learn all over again. I think that I tend to a more simple style than I have at times in the past but I guess that we all evolve and change and improve. I think that my style will always tend to be layered, simple background with mist and lots of patterned papers mixed together.

What do you like best about your scrapping?

Come back again soon!

I sure enjoy the company.

♥♥
